BTSE Bitcoin Exchange to Hold IEO on Blockstream’s Liquid Sidechain in Early March

The BTSE cryptocurrency platform will hold an initial exchange offer (IEO) on Blockstream’s Liquid sidechain on March 5th.

BTSE plans to sell verified users up to 25,000 tokens at a price of $ 2. Thus, the maximum amount of funds raised during IEO will be $ 50 million. The exchange will also launch the BTSE / USD spot trading pair.

According to a press release, BTSE has already held a private token offering, which began back in October.

“We recently completed a private token placement round thanks to the participation of investors such as FBG Capital, Lemniscap, CMS Holdings, Taureon Capital, GBCI Ventures and BCB Blockchain,” said Jonathan Leong, CEO of the exchange.

Note that due to regulatory difficulties, BTSE has recently changed Dubai to the Virgin Islands. According to The Block, the UAE central bank said earlier that BTSE lacks the necessary license to operate.
