If you have a smartphone running Android, your phone has a built-in sound recording application. It’s pretty easy to use and the audio recording is pretty decent.

For high-end smartphones, recording such audio can be compared to the quality of the studio, but in the case of a mid-range or low-end smartphone, it would do a great job. In a few steps we will show you how to make the best of your record. Here’s how it works:

1. Unlock your smartphone by moving the screen.

2. If your application is not on the home screen, then you will need to go to the “Applications” tab or type “Voice Recorder” in the browser. Once you find it, open the application.

3. Tap the red circle that shows the microphone to start recording. You also have a pause button if you need it during recording.

4. When you’re done recording, click the gray box. Name your record and save it. Now click on the list button in the upper right corner. You can find your saved entries in this section.
