The creators of the popular music platform are preparing for the premiere of several new features in their official application. The first one is called “Sleep Timer” and as the name suggests, it will allow you to select an hour to stop playing the songs.

This is appropriate, for example, for lunch or sleep breaks, setting intervals between 5 and 60 minutes, and using the End Track function that stops the stream after the end of the right track.

Another innovation that Spotify expects us to be “Connect with friends” is a feature for sharing songs and playlists with people who are close to us. This will be possible by scanning a special code in the application from smartphones, reports Neowin.

Users will have access to this feature from Spotify’s Connect to a Device. The third improvement expected in the next version of the Android service is also quite attractive and offers integration with Google Maps.

In this way, users will receive smart recommendations on the best road route, as well as the ability to manage Spotify from the Google Maps interface. This will ease the process of changing songs and switching between both navigation and streaming applications.
