The business of the company in Bulgaria will be managed by Oana Piperova, who is the General Manager for the Adriatic. “For some people, terms such as cloud systems and AI may seem quite remote to the Bulgarian market, but in reality they are not. There are many large companies in our presence that need cloud solutions,” Piper stressed.

Crayon is a Norwegian company at the age of 17 and has positioned itself as a “trusted partner” for organizations around the world in their efforts to optimize their business with high technology and maximize the return on their technology investment.

Today, the company covers 80% of the global market and is estimated at EUR 350 million, traded on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

“Usually the first step of any new project is analyzing an organization – its available IT systems, economic indicators, capabilities,” Kutowski explained. “The second phase involves designing and then implementing the solution, and then it comes to acceptance – to be accepted by the people who will work with the new system. We take care of its maintenance and development, so we keep an eye on the organization throughout its technological path.”

Something that is largely about the workflow is the presence of “visibility and predictability for users,” it became clear from the manager’s words. “Predictability is increasingly important because when consumers implement cloud solutions, they need to know how much they will have to pay.”

To deploy effective cloud and AI solutions, Crayon has 80 data scientists. The Competent Help Center in Belgrade is accessible to all users of the company, especially focused on development in the field of artificial intelligence. In addition to supporting existing customers, its mission is to help organizations properly target AI systems.

“There is no finished product in this regard – each solution is different, tailored to the specific customer organization,” Kutowski explained.
With the launch of Crayon in Bulgaria, the innovative artificial intelligence development that Norway is known for will begin to apply to organizations in our country, said Kalin Dimchev, Microsoft’s executive director for Bulgaria, Macedonia and Kosovo.

Crayon are of particular interest to local software development companies. For them, the company has a specialized program for technical assistance and “market implementation”.

“Together with companies in the software industry, we can identify potential customers for them and their solutions – and since we are a company with a global presence, they can enter different markets,” said Oana Piperova.

According to her, there are numerous companies in our country with extremely innovative products, which, however, are unknown. They can find a wider market through a partnership with Crayon.

Kalin Dimchev, Microsoft’s executive director for Bulgaria, Macedonia and Kosovo, said that with the arrival of Crayon in Bulgaria, it is expected that innovative artificial intelligence development, which Norway is familiar with, will begin to be deployed to organizations in our country, so that we can use our country’s potential for new technologies.
