Since May 3, 2019, it had to start selling Samsung Galaxy Fold in Europe, the price of the model was about 4,000 leva. We are talking in the past because at the very end of April, Samsung officially postponed the premiere of the flexible smartphone, confirming the unexpected problems with its screen.

This, however, does not in any way prevent Samsung from developing into “non-standard displays”. As we publish digital reports, the South Korean technology giant registers a very interesting concept for smartphones with dual smartphone in the US Patent and Trademark Office.

We’ve seen other dual-display smartphones, such as Vivo Nex Dual Display, Nubia X and Meizu Pro 7, but both screens are separate. While the Samsung concept is one, it passes through the periphery. Now we can define this as a dual-sided smartphone, which is not folded like Fold and Huawei Mate X, which we even showed you in a video preview.

The interesting applications on the screen are, for example, a direct translator. When you speak to someone in a foreign language and hold the phone in front of your face, on the second screen, your interlocutor will see the text of your speech.

Also, in photos, the person you are shooting will be able to see the frame you are doing. A smartphone does not have a front camera, but is not needed because it has a dual display and for sophisticated, you can use the main camera.

Samsung’s patent also mentions a pen, and as we know, “S Pen” is a trademark of the Note series. For this reason, it’s not inconceivable that the patent is a prototype of the future Samsung Galaxy Note 10, although its premiere is expected too early, so it is logical to think that the Samsung Galaxy Note 11 will be double-sided.

We will recall that this is not the first patent on a Samsung smartphone with a second screen on the back. A similar picture appeared in the US Patent Office in early 2018. However, the concept was somewhat different.

It also resembles the Huawei patent, which in February registered a vision for a second-range smartphone, which is just below the cameras on the back. Indeed, the possibility that the future Huawei P40 Pro or even the Huawei Mate 30 Pro is quite large.
