A team of specialists from Drexel University develop an interesting experimental game that needs to improve the choice of food they consume. The main goal of the project is not to overtake consumers with the intake of sugar, which is a prerequisite for serious health problems.

Many people, however, do not have the willpower to oppose this option by making the right choice. Scientists are of the opinion that their test game offers a useful solution to this serious problem, announced SlashGear.

The concept of the title is to put consumers in the dilemma to give their preferences for several types of food and household items. Each of them will be able to keep or remove the objects in question.

The game is called “Nutrition DASH” and is designed to automatically adjust to the specific sweet products consumed by each person. Creators also claim that Diet Dash changes the level of difficulty to stay in sync with the ability of players to refrain from taking their favorite treatments.

Scientists also hire a group of volunteers to use the game “at least a few minutes a day” for a period of six weeks. The next phase lasts 14 days and must do it once a week. The game is a virtual grocery store where you can quickly buy the right food and discard those with high sugar content.

Tests show that more than 50% of weight loss participants lost an average of 3.1% of their weight in eight weeks.
