Intel is expanding its R&D business in Russia

Intel is expanding its R&D center in the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod with the opening of another office. It is one of the world’s largest R&D companies operating in the United States for 20 years.

The new office will employ about 300 people, including some of the center’s current employees, the Nizhny Novgorod government said. In total, the R&D center team has 1000 experts.

The Center is engaged in the research and development of Intel’s global projects in promising areas such as artificial intelligence, machine vision, 5G networks, the Internet of Things and software.

Demand for IT professionals in the region has now exceeded twice as many graduates. Intel supports the training by participating in educational programs and collaborating with leading universities in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
